Chained

chained to the things we have, the comfort and
the rising living standard we enjoy
chained to the restlessness of our days
the noises around - and all the bustle and unrest
that smashes the stillness
chained to the obligations that we've to carry out
the expectations that surround us
the time sheduling that helps us to plan our stress
the future prospects that overcome us
chained tothe common norms
the matters and forms - so we're not allowed to be just natural
chained to the different roles that make us so confused
the pictures people have of us
our weaknesses that make us insecure
ourselves with all the fears we have
is it satisfying to live a life in chains
and to accept the circumstances and the way things go?
i think it's not enough for
us just to wait and see
but it's time for us
to make a change
