How can I submit a songtext?

In the tracklist of an album appears both the tracks with already existing songtexts and tracks where texts are still missing. The names of these tracks have a black link color and there is a submit-icon
Click on the link or on the submit-icon and you will get a form to submit your songtext..

Why can't I submit a songtext of my choice?

Oleo will not only give songtexts but also backgroundinformations and graphical material of the bands, the albums and discography. These informations must naturally be associated and this is exactly not possible, when you can submit the songtexts "free". But we will present a wishlist for you and will expand our database.

How can I submit a translation or chords?

On the lyrics pages. If there is already a songtext you can submit an extra translation in another language or you can - for the musicians of us - submit the tabs. Next to the songtexts there is the "It`s your turn"-box. Here you will find the links to submit translations and tabs. If the translation or the tabs already exist, you will only see the Lens-Icon with the link to view.

Why can't I see the songtext, the translation or the chords directly after submitting in the compendium?

We check all submitted songtexts before publishing. So we can exclude that somebody submits garbage and everyone can see it instantly.

Do I have to be registered to submit a songtext?

No. Every user can submit. But it is advantageous to do this as a registered user. Why? Read it on Why register?.

Which are my advantages as a registered user?

Where can I ask questions about the forum?

Read first the FAQ of the Oleo Board. If you don`t find an answer you can ask your questions in the forum. Other members, a moderator or an administrator will help you instantly. We recommend to use the Board search at first, to make sure, that nobody asked the same question already.
