Great for getting Krunk.

With the urging of a friend, I tried listening to the Ying Yang Twins, despite my lack of enthusiasm for rap. While listening to the song "What's Happnin!", I found myself bouncing up and down and all around the house. This group and this CD is great for getting pumped up. It is NOT meant to be taken seriously, but is a great way to chill out or get your krunk on. It's great for bouncing in your car or whatever, it just has to be fun. Criticizers of this group were not listening to it for the sheer fun of it. Great pick-up if you need some fun and wanna get krunk.

I have to say that this is one of those albums that you completely regret buying and paying over $13.00. With complete uneeded cursing, trash/whack lyrics and off beats make one horrible album.

Them braves- Completely not worth reviewing. The whole f@cken song is swearing which does not equal any talent whatsoever. Its not even a song, just a bunch of swear words and an introduction that they ARE the Ying Yang Twins. Hey guys, we can read the title of the album.



Hanh!- Another song not worth reviewing at all. The whole thing is repetitious with a horrible beat and whack lyrics. Both Ying Yang Twins sound like they are on crack from the beginning to the end so you can tell what kind of song this ends up sounding like...



Whats happnin!- I really hated this song as well. The only good thing about it is the beat, that is why i gave it a pitiful 1 star out of 5. Both Ying Yang Twins try WAY to hard and deliver such a deep and crackly voice that it sounds like they have something caught in there throat and they cant get it out throughout the album. Trick Daddy is really not any different in this song, he sounds just the same except with a little bit of a higher voice thank god!



Grey Goose- Guess what? This song exceeds 5 minutes and 30 seconds. You want to know something else? The last two minutes is a repetitious beat and no lyrics to be heard at all. The beginning of the song is just repetion and telling everyone to put their middle fingers up. Great!



Salt Shaker- This is one of those songs that everyone knows which is really the only reason why i gave it 2 stars besides the fact that it has really good beat. But the only reason for that is because its produced by Lil John, one of the best beat makers of all time! Whack lyrics and rymes are all over this song, so theres nothing to get excited about before listening to it.



Georgia Dome- This song really p!ssed me off, because they are trying to copy Lil John's "get low" song. And boy, do the Ying Yang Twins heavily fail. It sounds nothing like a "sequel" that it is meant to be as stated in the track title. Another failure by them. Continuing on then...



What the f@ck!- Another complete whack track. Guess what? The Ying Yang's Twins voice still haven't cleared up yet. They still have that "cold." Bonecrusher cant get anywhere in his rymes without swearing obscenely, for example in 1 line there is three curse words. Thats just sad... And i have never even HEARD of Killer Mike, so i cant really judge him, but from what i heard he sounds pretty bad.



Calling all zones- Stupid song! The whole theme of the song sounds like it is set in a "monk" like church or something. The beat is crap, all of the song is the stupid twins talking like maniacs and a lot of growling...Alright then, moving on...



Me and my brother- The ONLY reason why i gave this song one star is because of the fact that it is hilarious in the beginning of it because it sounds like The Ying Yang Twins are talking baby talk literally at the beginning. It sounds like they are just learning how to throw words out of their mouth. However that does change, but not in a good way. Whack lyrics and rymes strike again, once again, a huge dissapointment.



Hard- The hole them of this song is "ghetto dreams" which is a rather bland topic to rap about. The public now a days wants something exciting to year, and people being ghetto will not work for them. We've already heard it and we don't need to hear it again. K.T s@cks in this song, he doesnt spit out two words that actually sound well together, literally.



The nerve calmer- This should be called the nerve stimulator. It is so bad and so horribly made that you cant even classify it into any music category. The first ten seconds of it is blank and then it starts out with the same trash lyrics that we've seen and heard about from the previous songs.



Naggin'- FINALLY! A song worth reviewing about. I actually thought this song was worth listening to as the beat was great and it actually had a topic and delivered a message. The rymes/lines are great and they actually do a great job of staying on topic. Great job in terms of this song twins!



Naggin part 2 (the answer)- Practically the same lyrics and theme as Naggin part 1 except for the fact that MS Flawless is rapping it and she actually does a great job of it once again staying on topic as well as delivering great lines/rymes. The beat is great as well as the first Naggin.



Armageddon- Finally, were at the end of this worthless album. Another gimmick song is here with trash beats, lyrics and rymes. Great ending guys! (/end sarcasm)



In conclusion, this album is just for those who are album collectors and know nothing about rap at all. The only reason why i think these guys are famous is for the reason that they sound so incredibly bad, that people feel pity for them. Everything is trash in this album, the lyrics/rymes/lines and even the beats in some songs. EVERY rap song should have a average beat or better now a days.

The Ying Yang Twins, as of right now, are a disgrace to ATL. Pick up Ludacris or Usher if you want real Atlanta Rap. The guest appearances are low and terrible and the only good songs are the two singles (Salt Shaker feat. Lil Jon, and Naggin). Download their new single "Wait", and get their new album U.S.A. (United State of Atlanta) when it comes out. It is rumored that it has appearances by Ludacris, Twista, Young Buck of G-Unit, Usher, T.I., Lil Jon, to name a few, on the new upcoming album.
