Debut

Will Smith's debut is filled with hip-hop and R&B. This album shows Will his positive side of life. Will's raps are non-profanity. This album has been certified 8x Platinum.

One of the best rap albums ever! 10 million copies sold!

What can I say about this CD. I only bought it because I liked "Gettin'Jiggy Wit It" so I didn't expect much especially since Will Smith had not released an album in four years. I was suprised to say the least when I finally listened to this album. It's sheer genuine fun for every one from age 0 - 99. The beats are catchy and the lyrics are wonderful. Sometimes I wonder If Will really wrote the songs. Anyway, the CD is worth owning. It's one album that Will Smith can never duplicate.

Gettin' Jiggy Wit It - Great beat (although sampled)

THE RAP ALBUM

If you are reading this I really respect you because this is probally last on the list. I writing this review on March second 2005 and the album came out in '97!! This album is excellent from start to finish. ALL the songa are great songs that unlike most of todays rappers IT RHYMES which is the #1 rule in rap music. Will Smith is great and I own ALL of his albums (including when he was with dj jazzy jeff) This album is a classic album. Pay whever it costs to get it.
