Description: Can we embrace yet another boy band? Bring 'em on! Here come Kian, Mark, Bryan, Shane, and Nicky--five knock-out Irish lads who were selling millions of CDs in Europe while the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync competed for teenaged hearts in the U.S. Thank goodness for Westlife that pubescent crushes are as transferable as a comic strip to Silly Putty; the group is geared to storm the States head-on, and threatening to overtake a few well-entrenched heartthrobs. Citing the Backstreet Boys as an early influence (when 3 years is more than 10 percent of your whole life, it scales), the vocal-harmony quintet's sound is exactly what you'd expect. The album contains no Backstreet-bombast dance singles, though--these guys opt for Boyz II Men balladeering. Their perfectly melded voices wail, soar, and soothe with impressive emotional impact that's capable of igniting countless gymnasium-turned-dancehall romances. if you've got an actual ear for music...

well, i'm also a fan of bsb, nsync, and a lot of other boy bands out there but Westlife is the best out of all of them because they've got great harmonies and they're really talented. my favorite song is "miss you" and it's absolutely great, everything about it! if you haven't heard them, try 'em out!

music I can enjoy in my daughters car

I am a 46 yr.old grandma and country music fan It is really nice to get in a car with one of my daughters and really enjoy the music. I usually make them change the station if the radio is on but if they have a Westlife cd in we can all enjoy the music! their harmonies are really great. I have even bought a few cd's as gifts for my girls, I just wish I could get them locally instead of having to order them but they are worth the extra trouble. If they tour in our area I will go with the girls to see them!

Westlife

This is a very good album, I like most of the songs and I definitaly love the extra songs. 'On The Wings Of Love' is such a beautiful song, the extended version of 'If I Let You Go' is very pop and I love the Flying Without Wings a capella version.
