Reviews:

2 Great B-Sides and 1 Atrocity

Hey Weeziites...it's another single! This one has two (excellent) b-sides from the Green Album, and one horriffic remix of Hash Pipe. The b-sides are I Do and Starlight. I Do is one of the best Weezer songs yet! I can't believe it's not on the cd. It's a beautiful slow tempo Butterfly-esque song. Starlight is a great, up-tempo typical Green Album song. Now, Hash Pipe (Jimmy Pop Remix) is terrible. Yes it is "Hash Pipe", but in name only. Just consider this a 3-track single and try to forget about the remix.

One of my favorite imports

Buying this CD is definetly worth it because you get 2 of Weezer's best B-sides to date. First off, "I Do" is definetly the most depressing (and shortest!) Weezer song out there. It's a lot different from their other stuff. When you first listen to it, don't make any judgment. Give it about 3 more plays and see how you feel. It's pretty good. Then you get "Starlight" which rivals a lot of the songs that made it onto the Green Album (beats Hashpipe, in my opinion.) The Jimmy Pop Remix is OK, but it sounds like he just dubbed the lyrics over the Bloodhound Gang's "Bad Touch." Any self-respecting Weezer fan should own this single. It is definetly not a waste of money, god knows we've all had our bad experiences with Imports.

You've got to be kidding!

Ner-ner-ner-ner . Great stuff. If it were tongue-in-cheek, I could maybe appreciate it. But since its serious, I can only laff. Har har har!
