Cassette Tape
Animal House is an awesome movie that is extremely funny and it has some great music! I have the movie soundtrack album on cassette tape and all of the music on this soundtrack is really very good but my personal favorites are Louie, Louie, Hey Paula, Twistin' The Night Away and the Faber College Theme but the rest of the music is also good and I recommend this soundtrack album along with the movie! John Belushi's rendition of Louie, Louie is fun but I thought that the original version of the song was also used in the movie and I wish thay had put that on this soundtrack too but I can't remember the name of the group that sang it but I know it's played on oldies rock radio stations all the time.
Great albumn from a Great movie
If you enjoyed the music in the movie, then I must say, get this albumn. Even if you don't like the movie (I think there is about one or two people out there), I would still say get this albumn. The soundtrack has some of the best songs, with some of the best lines of the movie spread throughout the albumn. This is a great albumn to listen to when you are getting ready to go out and party or play it at your next party to get the people up and dancing.
I Have The Cassette Tape
Animal House is an awesome hilarious movie and it sure had some great music! I had the movie soundtrack album on cassette tape but can't find it and apparently it must be one of my cassette tapes that was stolen but I hope it is just misplaced somewhere and I will find it. All of the music on the soundtrack is great but my personal favorites are Louie, Louie, Hey Paula, Twistin' The Night Away and the Faber College Theme but the rest of the music is good too and I recommend this soundtrack album along with the movie!
Put on your toga and get ready to party fraternity style!!!
This cd (and the movie it's from) bring back so many memories from my college days. Although it portrays fraternities in a negative light, a member of one cannot help enjoying this soundtrack.
The Dali Llama's Ding Dong
I can only assume that Belushi'd be spinning, were he aware that Barry Manilow is being touted as "You'd think this is [great], too" next to Otis Day & The Knights. Sam Cooke and Alan Jackson aren't a "1 & 1 make 2" combo. If anyone needs to know, an it looks like all of evrabody do, buying anything by Mr. Cooke look nice, get Otis and the Knights, Louie Louie what it look like, and don't forget Tina Turner and Ike. Speaking of Mr. Ding Dong himself, I am really writing this review to ask a question: who knows about George Clinton's production of Otis Day & The Knights' 10-or-so song album, "Shout"? I have heard that it is too synthesized, but it seems to me that taking the drunken mo town sound of animal house and mixin it with the mo town on acid sound of Funkadelic would be perfection.
Buy Animal House, steal a car, and drive out of town to the "Death Delay" Club. I'm go be there to dance wif yo dates.
