Reviews:

Great Memories

I bought Raos wonderful cookbook and cound not resist the CD.The songs are wonderful, full of manny manny menories.
I now have purchased one for my car, and several for gifts. Everyone who has received the "Evening at Raos" agrees with me, it is one of their all time favorites.....Thank you Artists and Raos"

The Old Neighborhood

Down in the dumps?? Feeling blue? Miss the old crew?

Order AN EVENING AT RAOS to brighten up your night.

It'll bring you back to the block. Back in the 50's,

early sixties.Pigeon coops, Candy store, ices, open hydrants, stickball and stoop ball.

Mt Carmel Feast with the smell of sauasage and peppers

cooked outdoors by Mr Rao himself.

Remember the music coming from the jukebox? Tony Bennet,

the Platters, Dean Martin?

Talk about a TREASURE. There is a cut of Dion singing

"Sunday Kind of Love" rarely heard. Talk about harmony

Eyy fahgeddahboudit!!

Great Selection of music, no music lover should be without.

Don't be a 'mook'(dummy-for the benefit of non Ital-Am)

get a copy today.

In addition, get a copy of the "Rao's Cookbook" written by

Frank Pellegrino himself. Good recipies? Ey, don't

get me started. I'll be here forever.

Combine them both and you will truely have AN EVENING AT RAOS.

You Don't Have To Be Italian

You don't have to be Italian to enjoy this CD. It is a delightful potpurri of artists that epitomize the those songs familiar to those who are aroung 50 years of age. This CD is sonically brilliant. I wonder what process was used to enhance these orginal cuts? Louie Prima's rendition of Just a Gigilo jumps out of the speakers, practically forcing you to grab a partner and begin dancing across the living room floor. I highly recommend this CD.
