Reviews:

An amazing mix

This is an amazing set of two CDs! The first CD is very upbeat house and mixed very cleanly, leaving the tracks intact as you would listen to them on any album. DJ MFR really showcases the best tracks from Transport records.

The second CD is what really shines though! David Ireland takes the best tracks from OM, and mixes them together often creating something completely new. A complete contrast in mixing techniques as compared to the first CD.

If you buy any compilation CD in the next couple months, this should be the one. No contest!

Computer/IPOD problems

I agree with the prior reviews - this disk tried to load software to my computer, that my virus checker killed, and it caused problems on my computer.

And the upload to the ipod, was off - it didn't load clean. I am taking this back to the store, if I can't rip it to my ipod, I'll never listen to it.

I don't want albums, that load software to my machine, and I don't want albums that I can't load to the IPOD

Plays fine on my iPod, and is a great album, too.

First of all, I don't know what kind of problems W. Frick is having below. A) The CD clearly states "These CDs are protected against unauthorized duplication." on the back of the CD packaging in the lower lefthand corner. B) I was able to import both discs into iTunes without a problem on both my iMac and my iBook, and uploaded them to my iPod immediately. Not a single problem at all.

What I'm really sorry to see is this CD's star ranking suffer because of his inability to get it to work, because the two disks that make up this title are fantastic. I bought it on a whim while picking up Bargroove's Mimosa and this has quickly become my favorite CD (of the week.) I also have Afterdark New York, which was kind of "so so" to me, so I wasn't expecting to love this one at all...Julius Papp's "Drum de Voodo," Solstice's "Fall Into You," and Kaskades' "What I Say" are big highlights and will probably find a way into my own DJ set rotations very soon.
