Description: An updated read on William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, Gil Junger's 10 Things I Hate About You is a teen comedy about two sisters on opposite ends of the social spectrum: one is pretty and popular, the older sister is bitter and vengeful. Family rules dictate that the younger sibling can't date until the older one has. You see where this is going. The soundtrack features Letters to Cleo in a '70s mood covering Cheap Trick's "I Want You to Want Me" and Nick Lowe's "Cruel to Be Kind." Sweden's Cardigans include a rare B-side, "War." George Clinton's "Atomic Dog," Joan Armatrading's "The Weakness in Me," and Madness's "Wings of a Dove" still sound fresh. The only real misstep is Sister Hazel's "Your Winter," which sounds like a Seven Mary Three parody, full of breast-beating sincerity and lyrics that defy the laws of coherence. --Rob O'Connor

First Song of the movie

I have I doubt since I read the info about the soundtrack. I'd really like the first song in the movie (when credits appear), even before of "Bad Reputation", so I listened all tracks of the soundtrack and I didn't find the name. Does anybody know the name of the song, or the band??

someone back there asked what song plays in joeys car right at the beginning. its by k-ci and jojo and its the all my life remix, its the same song when he tells Kat about the rambo look and when he picks up chastity and bianca.



there arent enough songs as there should be on this album what about sunshine on my window and one week?
