Talented Ms. Amorosi

This is a german import featuring a remix of "have a look" (i think the remix is superior to the original album version) then there is the album version of the title track. The real treats are the last two tracks. "heroes live forever" is the song from the olympics, a very powerful piece. I bought the single for the olympic song but was surprised by the fourth track, "rise up." I don't know why it wasn't on the album, but it really grows on you. The cover of the single has kind of a blue-ish look, the lengths of the tracks are as follows: 1)3:47 2)3:34 3)4:31 4)3:36 -- making for over a quarter of an hour: one album song and three non album songs. I bought "the power" based on Amorosi's olympic performance and have been more than happy with it, even though it was expensive. At the moment when a lot of singles are filled with lame remixes, "have a look" is worthwhile. Amorosi also takes some writing credits on her songs, which is more than can be said for a lot of people to day. This is no studio magic, just pure talent and that makes for a great listen.
