Reviews:

Nothing really shines off this one

Aside from the instant familiarity of "Chains, Chains" from it's brief radio heyday 20+ years ago, this album was a whole new experience for me. The best thing that can be said about this album is that it is a solid rocker and the worst thing that can be said is that nothing really stands out. Pick it up if you must, but from this point on you might find it easier, (and a WHOLE lot cheaper,) to buy Best Of A's & B's and call it a career until Walk On Water.

Very good

All this talk about how bad UFO got in the 1980's is just not true. In a time when the hard rock scene wasn't very healthy, UFO managed to record solid albums like "NO PLACE TO RUN" and "MAKING CONTACT". This album is no exception and the opening "Chains, chains" could easily have been included on any of the classic albums from the Schenker era. With excellent tunes like the speedy "Long gone", the groovy and melodic "Making moves", the melancholic "Profession of violence" and the attractive title track "The wild, the willing and the innocent", this album is nearly a must for any UFO fan.

VERY GOOD CD

The reviews of the non shenker albums by the shenker worshipers make me sick. If your a true fan of UFO then why do you disrespect the rest of the ass kickin personnel of the shenker lineup just because shenker is not on it.I am i friggin DIEHARD UFO fan that has ALL,I repeat all the albums. And most of the Chapman stuff i hate to break the news to you people is just as good as the shenker stuff IE.. lone gone, chains chains, no place to run, blinded by a lie, you people are pathetic.I guess vinnie moore sucks too , YEAH...OK....He would blow shenker off the stage..anyhow from someone who loves ALL UFO ...trust me buy making contact,no place to run,and wild willing and innocent, you wont be disappointed!
