3.4 stars for Udos second best album
Judging from my incomplete knowledge of the enormous output of Udo Lindenberg in the last 30 years I rate "Panische Naechte" as his second best album, after Ball Pompoes. Though Lindenberg's singingdoes not match Freddy Mercury's, or even his compatriots Udo Juergens and Peter Maffay, there are some songs with decent hooks and, provided you understand German, you'll appreciate
a couple of intelligent and/or funny texts.
