Reviews:

I LOVE IT, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!

I love this collection. I really do. It is such a delightful treasure trove of memories. It speaks to a fun period in history when the Beatles brought an original brand of music and delightful banter into the mainstream public.

In early 1964, the world was reeling from the aftermath of President Kennedy's untimely death (11/22/63) and the futility of the Vietnam War. Racial tensions and unemployment, then as now were societal ills that were in the forefront during the 1963-1964 period. The Beatles injected levity, original expression and just plain fun where it was sorely needed. Against such a stark historical backdrop, the Beatles were radiant, bright and just plain fun.

They were also trend setters. Their clothing styles and haircuts have been emulated by countless many people and their music continues to delight audiences. Their songs have been remade and they have proved time and again that they have permanent staying power. Emulation of their work and general appearance speak to a general affinity for them. After all, they did help define a generation and even now have a strong following. I think they are timeless classics.

This collection is such a treat. I really love it.

This Cd is the best one that I've ever heard

When I listened to the splendid sound of this CD, expecially the drum solo's were allright and the gitarsolo's and also the singing solo's were OK.
