Reviews:
I hate labels when they insist...
Hi,
I hate record labels when they insist... They own a power to make artists obey their words. They do it and make the artists lose their values, and they quit their contracts.
This album is really unnecessary. A cliché trick that is done after all bad crossover experiences. This is nothing big to be ashamed of. But, EMI cannot live with that. This album really disses over Thalia's precious career, in which the slightest tracks had platinum value. Once u get the contract of an artist, be brave enough to enhold his/her back catalogue.
With this "compilation" EMI is trying to say that "Thalia is 'great' with only out catalogue items, and she was nothing before being a mortal on her own, we made her someting. They did the same things to precious Janet Jackson after "Damita Jo" and Robbie Williams after "Escapology".
They try to disguise their evilish trade strategies with a "BONUS DVD" thing. They are selling me the videos (which in real are highly important to me) as a so called gift and they "apogalize" for their dust sweep artist's inhuman "crossover" bad experience.
But stop there. This album contains good songs that are released from EMI, OK. We were Thalia listeners before and after EMI!!! So, use the powers to take the artists onto their knees till the next time they become the victim of your illogical marketing (so called) strategies.
For EMI, if u need to have a comment on something, u have to be clever and hard-working on that thing. They lost Mariah Carey's contract, they lost the chance to take Robbie Williams to the top, they misused Janet Jackson's talents with a so-called accident, they couldn't even enhold an important group Spice Girls in contact to earn money. EMI is wasting money on "how to fail with a success" stories.
"Accion y Reaccion" was an unwanted song for 2002 "Thalia" album, now it is in a "Greatest Hits" compilation. What an irony. EMI is making Thalia release same songs since 2002. Buy any album from
- Thalia 2002
- Thalia 2003
- Thalia's Hits Remixed
- Greatest Hits
you will come accross the same specific songs. "Tu y Yo" "Mexican" "A Quien Le Importa" "Arrasando" "Closer To You".
As a fan I'd buy if they release a zillon more Thalia compilations, but would Thalia's value stay the same high-top quality after so many career wastes.
Buy this album if u r a fan, or if u r interested with a Latin singer's label group's "selection" of "hits".
Hits to me mean a lot more than these. For me a hit is "No Me Ensenaste", "No Hay Que Llorar", "Hey, It's Me", "Tell Me", "What's It Gonna Be", "Baby, I'm In Love".
Fans would carry on their own fire to enlighten their DIVA, but a fools group like EMI would upside down everything as they did to the others...
SO BE CONSCIENCE AWARE, BE TRULY ALERT TO INSULTS OF THESE SO CALLED RECORD LABELS.
It's Great
