B-o-r-i-n-g

I can't imagine that this CD garnered positive praise from anyone. Its a rehashed effort by 3/4 of the original band and a new guitarist to cash in on old fame, and its not even done well. The guitar player here is okay, but he is not Alvin Lee, the founder of TYA and the writer of most of the songs on this CD. I can't find anything here to make it worth its while. The songs have all been done before a million times and done a million times better by their creator, so why we need an imitation of Alvin when we can just buy Alvin Lee CDs is lost on me. And the price is scandalous! This is a self released CD, meaning no record label gets a cut, all the money goes directly to the band - so how do they justify the outrageously high price? My suggestion if you want a TYA live album is to forego this piece of anemic tribute to Alvin Lee and instead buy a TYA with ALvin Lee live CD - like Recorded Live and Live at the Fillmore East. That way, you'll get your money's worth 'cause you'll get the real thing!

Don't be fooled, backup group and amateur

Plesae don't be fooled and waste money expecting the real Ten Years After on this seedy album.

Alvin Lee is not on it, as all Ten Years After fans know, there is no Ten Years After without Alvin Lee. Check his Live in Tennessee album, just made which is already a classic.

A true shame. You just can't compare the skill, creativity, songs that were created by Alvin Lee, to an amateur trying to imitate Alvin Lee. No energy. Please fans be aware of what is going on here. NO ALVIN LEE, he has absolutely nothing to do with this album and he pleased with the group to use another nane. But there is no money in that one.

What a downer to hear the lack of energy and lack of creativity to a group trying to call themselves TYA. It is flat and dead.

By the way, they did try to call themselves Alvin Lee and Ten Years After at one gig. Anything for a buck I guess. There is some great new stuff around, original and creative, this album is a flatn, energyless imitation.

Dreamstart

This is the live album start of the new T.Y.A.without Alvin Lee.
And it`s a dreamstart, because this CD is great. Now you can see that the boys are not only background musicans, and you can hear - they do a fantastic job. Joe Gooch, the new guitarplayer is 27 years old, but incredible good. And if you want hear a five stars
