Reviews:

Roland Orzabal's most powerful musical statement yet!

Well who is Roland Orzabal you may ask? You may know him as Tears For Fears. In Rolands second Curt Smithless CD, he blasted us with his best work yet. If you are a fan of Tears For Fears or a fan of incredible music with outstang lyrics and meaning, then this is the album for you! Roland struggled to express himself with all of the earlier Tears For Fears albums in the 80's evn with the enourmous hits they had, Roland just felt that he could not let it out. (No pun intended) You may remember HUGE hits like Mad World, Shout, Everybody Wants To Rule The World but the sound is VERY different here. Much harder and aggresive. I was shocked to hear Roland "Rock Out" like he did. Even with the release of Tears For Fears Orzabal/Smith reunion album of 2004 Everybody Loves A Happy Ending, Orzabal still says that Raoul was his crowning acheivement. We're right there with you Roland! A stunning piece of work not to be missed!

How did I miss this one?

For all the fans of Seeds of Love and Elemental this one is a must have. The larger than life melodic sounds of Orzabal and the band give this one a sound not often produced anymore. I guess I was sleeping or locked in a black hole when this one was released in 1995. If you are one that is fed up with the commercial "teeny-bopper punk", "hip-hoppin-booty-shakin" and all the other crap played on the radio these days do like me and start actively seeking out all the music you missed or produced when musicians actually played instruments, wrote their own music, or had something to say.

Great Album

I've read the good reviews on this CD. However even TFF fans still refer to this album RATKOS will n wink and a nod.

This is a great album. The lyrics and vocals are unmatched.

Try it!
