Real Soul

Soul Sound was the final single from the Sugababes amazing debut album. It presented our favourite trio harmonising in ways that very few girl groups out there can. The lyrics are beautiful (about discovering the euphoria that love brings about), the beat is nice and understated, the song is just great (and if you ever had a chance to catch the video it was just perfect). This is one song that had "number one" written all over it and the one that could have brought their artistry to US radio, unfortunately it would take one more year and a further single to achieve those feats (see "Freak Like Me"). If you've never had a chance to explore Britain's best girl band, do so by checking this single or the original "Overload," you will not be disappointed.

Awesome single for Sugababes fan and others...

I had high expectations regarding this single and I was not disappointed yesterday when I recieved it. "Soul Sound" has never been my favorite Sugababes song, although "One Touch" is one of my favourite albums of all times. Track 1 is the main song, while Track 3 is the acoustic version, like Track 2 for "Run For Cover". The two acoustic songs are not perfect in terms of singing and volumes, it is not mastered the way an album song would be, but this is why I am such a big fan of acoustic versions. You close your eyes and the girls are all around you, singing beautiful songs. The girls' vocals are not always perfect, but they sometimes are surprising, they really can sing! I especially like the "Run For Cover" acoustic song, which has beautiful music to it and a great deal of emotions. In a few words, this single is smooth and you will listen to it over and over again in a bubble bath with candlelight. The video is also beautiful and sweet, original like Europeans are known to be. A beautiful surprise!

Not bad

The Sugababes are a really great band. All their songs have an orginal sound and their voices are just like angels! Soul Sound is their third single from the album One Touch. The Sugababes explained this song to be all about falling in love with music for the first time. Well, the first time I heard it, I kind of fell in love with it. Then I went back listened to the other songs on the album and noticed that the girls' voices aren't very stong in Soul Sound unlike the other tracks. But the girls DO work really hard - and they write they write their own songs, unlike many girl bands, so I'll say - this single isn't that bad. Go and buy it if you're a Sugababes fan.
