Description: Saliva's heavy rock--with a dash of rap--is at once current and timeless, unlike many of the bands spawned by Korn and Limp Bizkit. This Memphis-bred bunch's powerful, diverse debut features a dozen lyrically and musically focused tracks from a band clearly possessed of strong chops and smart heads. Rangy singer Josey Scott's passionate delivery works well when matched with the chunky riffing of "Musta Been Wrong," the soaring, layered song's intensity balanced by shredding guitar.
Every Six Seconds has many such moments, with producer Bob Marlette's taut, techno-inflected touch lending "Lackluster" and "Faultline" a NIN vibe. "Hollywood" is a classic midtempo take on Tinseltown, while the CD's first single, "Your Disease," is simply a hit. "My Goodbyes," the ideal album closer, has a mystical musical quality befitting departed loved ones. Ultimately, Saliva's thoughtful, heartfelt, earthy intensity make
Every Six Seconds an impressive entrée from start to finish.

Reviews:
4.5 stars - great album
Saliva delivers a very stong album. Easy to listen straight through from 1 to 12. The beats are a great, Josey's voice is great, and the result is great. Has no real skippable songs (maybe 1) but the rest are good (a few great ones and a classic as well). Has a few songs that get you pumped up and a few slower deeper songs. A must have album for fans as well as nu-metal fans.

Every Six Seconds
I like this album even more now than I did when I first purchased it. This is Saliva's heaviest and loudest record. Every Six Seconds is a success and a must have record for any head banging individual. The album starts off good and ends even better. Overall, it's heavy, loud and a must have to your collection.
The Biggest Limp Bizkit Ripoff
I listen to some "nu-metal", but this is just a disgrace. First of all, this sounds exactly like Limp Bizkit's "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" mixed with Nickelback's "Silver Side Up", and I hate both CD's. Also, this band is way too commercialized. Even Slipknot and Korn aren't that commercialized. What a waste of silicone and lumber.
Every six seconds when I listen to each song, I want this madness to end. Now!
