Reviews:

Rod Stewart Ballad Album is a classic.

From Reason to Believe to Mama You Been on My Mind and great ones in between, if you like Rod's slower stuff--you'll love it.

the best album ever can't stop playing it

as above the best album ever out of this world keep them coming rod i ve got all your disc's

the essential rod stewart

The songs here remind the listener why Rod Stewart is important, not merely a flamboyant pop star whose career has been marked by some notoriously bad (but entertaining) turns. Rod interprets Bob Dylan better than anyone and the best of his Dylan work is here: Tomorrow is Such a Long Time is the most famous, but also Mama, You've Been on My Mind and a transcendent version of Girl From the North Country.
