Happy People/U Saved Me
Unfortunately, the same can't be said for "U Saved Me." The message-heavy disc sacrifices Kelly's raw talent for melodrama. Songs like "I Surrender" and "Prayer Changes," while expressing a sincere sentiment about believing in something greater than yourself, are a little overwhelming. That said, this disc's title track is a rousing musical tale of overcoming obstacles with the help of God--complete with a rising choir. In the end, "Happy People/U Saved Me," like most double albums, has both its highs and lows. --Rashaun Hall

Going The Distance
Discs 1 and 2 are filled with some great dance jams that prove R. Kelly will be around for a long time to come. In a business where artists are labeled hot one day and cold a week later, R. is in no danger of falling from his platform. He's a solid r&b soul performer, writer, producer, etc. He does it all. Like his song "I Can Fly," states, he probably can.R.Kelly is definately the R. in RnB
R.kelly's latest is suprising different from his previous cdz n hits including Fiesta, Bump n Grind, and u remind me of something.But Happy/People U Saved Me in my opinion is a great album. Happy People (1st disc) is average, but U Saved me (Disc 2) is beautiful. Every song!! - It's gospel in many respects.. praising the lord. It contains inspirational songs like U saved me, Prayer changes and how did u manage..
R.Kelly has done it again and even though it's not like his usual sexual songs, it definately is a must by 4 all R.kelly and Rnb fanz out there!! - Good One Robert!!
