Reviews:

Strange... But nice CD!

This is a strange and very funny CD! These are 5 tracks:
1) Pokémon Kakeru Kana? (Can you draw all the Pokémon?)
2) Hai Asa Desu Yo! (Yes it's morning!)
3) Gunya Gunya Gasu Gasu (Gunya-gunya Gas-gas)
4) Aa Marumain (Ah Electrode)
5) Kureyon de Pokémon (Pokémon with crayons)
The singer of all the songs is "Imakuni?" (you must write the interrogative point next to his name! I don't know why, but in japanese this name is write in this way) but in the third song an american man, Raymond, sings with him.
This CD comes with a little booklet that contains the lyrics and the information (Singer, Lyricist, Composer, etc.) of all the 5 songs. Of course, all is write in japanese!
The songs are strange, so you can also don't like them, but if you are a Pokémon Fan you must have this CD!

How can a Ditto draw a picture?

This CD just scared me, particularly the 3rd song...

Strange... yet satisfying

This is a great CD. Although it is aimed at younger kids, since it's in Japanese it is very funny. There are 5 tracks. I don't know what they're called(I can't read Japanese) but sound cool. The lyrics booklet has a really cute scene on the front of Pikachu, Ghastly(Ghos), Chansey(Lucky), Ditto(Metamo), and several others. They each have a giant crayon(a little taller than Pikachu) and are drawing themselves. The first track is really long, compared to most American songs. It mentions Pikachu several times. Most of the lines are sung by a man, followed by the same line sung by a bunch of kids. At the end, the man sings this word (sounds like "Katiena") over and over(fading out) while you hear the kids acting like Pikachus running away from something. The second track is really short, happy, and poppy. The third one is the weirdest. It has some English in it, and is about the same length as the first one. I think this song is about a Ditto (Metamo) transforming into a Ghastly(Ghos). There are 2 singers: an English man and a Japanese man. There's 2 parts where the English guy says some Japanese stuff with an English accent. It's strange. In the beginning he says "How's your pen groovin' today?" That's what it says in the lyrics book, so I'm not hearing wrong. There's also a part when the Japanese guy says "Come on kids!" with a Japanese accent. I wouldn't have any idea that that was English if it weren't for the lyrics book. Anyway, the really weird part in this song is when it has the Japanese guy saying something in Japanese, then the English guy says "Paint it black!" They keep repeating those lines. Then the Japanese guy says "Gas gas gas!" followed by the English guy saying the same thing. They keep repeating those lines, too. Then you hear what is supposed to be Ghastly. He says: "Yeah! I am GHOS! Hoo hee hee ha ha." That is probably the weirdest part in this CD. The third one is incredibly short, at around 20 seconds, yet it's my favorite. It's a nice calm Japanese-ish sounding song, to releive you of the poppy jumpy songs prior to this one. It's just weird that at the end, a bunch of kids yell "MOOOOO! ". The last song is another one similar in length as the 1st and 3rd, and is another fairly calm one. It starts off with a cow mooing, then the doorbell ringing over and over(like many kids like to do). Then you hear a Japanese lady saying something about Pokémon. This song's got a lot of cool lyrics that mention "Pokémon". Two of them sound like "Your envy to the Pokémon" and "Koojeebay need a Pokémon". A pretty neat song. Overall, I think this CD is a must-have. For a good price, too.
