Reviews:

Save yourself the time, money and energy....stay away.....

No Doubt is awesome today-Tragic Kingdom and everything beyond that rock-Gwen's solo stuff also looks incredibly promising. But this.....this is incredibly horrific garage music-I mean....worse than that. They were lucky they got a contract at all. This isn't even ska, I mean.....this is 80s and 70s stuff....this is like....SWING or something. The album's only single, "Trapped In A Box," is quite possibly the worst song I've ever heard in my life and easily the worst song here-although that's not saying much, cuz it's all horrible. PLEASE do not buy this as your first No Doubt album-it will give you a terrible impression of them-I'm shocked they improved so much. Their more recent stuff is incredible, but this is complete trash.

Second best album

This is one of the greatest albums I've ever heard (Tragic Kingdom being the best). My favourite song on it is the beautiful, medieval sounding 'Sad for Me'. I also love 'Lets Get Back'

This is where it all started for No Doubt.

This album isn't as good as the rest of No Doubt's albums, but it is still awesome. No Doubt has kept a lot of the same sound from this debut CD. This one is also very ska, even more so than the others I think. All of the songs on the album are very happy and up lifting. They make you want to smile and get up and dance. That's one of the great things about No Doubt, and I'm glad they kept that very same vibe going for so many years.

If you liked this album, I recommend: Try the band Save Ferris, they sound very similar to No Doubt.
