this is a great single, b/c of the gem even in his youth. As u all now noe smells like teen spirit is a great song, but this version of anyerysm rocks it is differnent from incestide.Now if ur not a hardcore nirvana fan dont get htis get the studio albums!

It's a single and I still bought it

I'll start off by saying that I don't buy singles mainly because you can hear the track on the actual album, but this one's too good to pass up. "Smells like Teen Spirit" is the best song ever and "Even in his Youth" and "Aneurysm" (not the Incesticide version) are great songs as well. If you are a huge Nirvana fan (like me) then buy the single even if you already have Nevermind because this a must have for any fan.

Seriously. This song and this band in general have the timeless talent that hadn't been seen since DARK SIDE OF THE MOON and PHYSICAL GRAFFITI. Well actually millions more remember those albums more than this single, if they evn know this single exists. This is not Nirvanas best single, that would be 'Heart-Shaped Box', but it still is at either #2 or #3. This is the song that opened the doors for me, if it wasn't for Nirvana then I wouldn't have been a rock fan. I owe so much to Kurt and the band and they will always be my #1 favorite band, not even 80's Metallica or Led Zeppelin can beat them. This is a great single with very good b-sides, if you are lucky enough to come across this single then buy it without delay, becuase chances are it wont be available later...

like a blanket and almost all rock music in 2004 is
actually grunge very thinly disguised.
Reason Number 2#The song isn't among Nirvana's best
and is poorly written,poorly produced and ABYSMALY sung!
Reason Number 3#While boy bands and kiddie pop needed a
break in 1991 lousy punk wasn't the way to do it.
Reason Number 4#The bands overall message of cynicism
resulted in a whole generation of disaffected youth and
let's not forget Kurt Cobain's suiside,the Kip Kinckle
murders oh,and Columbine;all fallout from the world this
music helped to create.
Reason Number 5#The most ridiculous music video of all
time!Oh,and the song is better heard covered by jazz
artists.
And there you have it-my opinion on the downward spiral of

popular music as of this historically destructive song!

Teen Spirit is awesome, but the others are no good (yuck!)

Teen Spirit is awesome, but the rest of the songs on here are horribble. Not even worth your money. Even In Her Youth is sloppy and unprofessional. It's not poppy like Teen Spirit ether. I didn't spend however much this cost everybody else to hear two out of three songs that are crappy. Kurdt, your legacy lives on in fans like me who wished you could have pushed yourself to the max and done more professial recordings like the jaw-gapingly brilliant Nevermind.

i luv this single and every song on it. espesially "EIHY" but the other ppl writing reviews for this single sound like theyre all dissing smells like teen spirit and the whole Nevermind album. now dont get me wrong im not one of those ppl who go "oohhh i luv SLTS!!!" when someone asks me if i like Nirvana. i luv every song made. i own all the released albums being: Bleach,Nevermind,Incesticide,In Utero,Unplugged in NY,and From the muddy banks of the wishkah. i also have this single plus the "heart-shaped box","All Appologies", and "Lithium" singles. i luv every song cuz each song is a little different and cool in its own way if u get what i mean. i am the most crazed nirvana fan in my town and everyone says. nirvana is all i listen to. the only time i dont is when i go to a school dance and they DJ there. but yeah i gess u cood call me a die-hard nirvana fan and i am on a mission to get every single audio cd out by nirvana.
my main question is y ppl r dissing SLTS and Nevermind?? cood u pleze clear that up for me cuz i am a die-hard fan and i still listen to Nevermind. thanx
