Description: This special package combines Nelly's two companion releases,
Suit and
Sweat, with a bonus DVD. Whereas
Sweat is geared toward the male thugs in the clubs,
Suit is for the thugettes. The more lyrically compelling of the two,
Suit shows a softer, more cerebral, less flashy side to St. Louis's favorite son, revealing a more worldly rap duke underneath the band aids and chunky jewelry. The album benefits from the beautiful harmonies of guests such as Jahiem, who sounds like a modern-day Teddy Pendergrass on "My Place," and Anthony Hamilton, whose spot on "Nobody Knows" reminds us why he's the most underrated of the contemporary soul balladeers. Even country star Tim McGraw joins the fray on "Over and Over." While
Suit offers Nelly at his most mature and refined,
Sweat takes direct aim at the "Hot in Herre" crowd. The Neptunes-hemmed "Flap Your Wings" may reestablish him as the king of club rap, while cuts like "Tilt Ya Head Back" and "River Don't Runnn" are genetically engineered for radio airplay.

Reviews:
Garbage
If someone gave either or both of these cds to me for FREE, i would burn them. They are just complete garbage, and ya'll suckers need to get off his d!c|<. Firstly, Nelly was NOT the first rapper to release 2 albums on the same day. ESHAM did it way back in 1992! With his two SEPERATE albums, Judgement Day Vol.1 and Judgement Day Vol.2! Sorry to spoil your day. And Nelly knows he aint the first too. Insane Clown Posse did it in 2000 also, with Bizarre and Bizaar, two SEPERATE DIFFERENT albums. Esham is the originator. Nelly is not original. Heck, Nelly even copied Esham's concept of putting half his body on one album cover and half on the other! Nelly just changed it to his face, trying to cover it up, but us reel life products know exactly what's up. And these aren't even 2 hip-hop albums ANYWAY!!!!! One is "supposedly" hip-hop and the other is R&B!! Sorry but R&B IS NOT HIP HOP!
This guy is a joke, and if you think he's good u dont know what rap is. He has tried to bite Esham's early style, but Nelly has tried to pull off this stunt to take all ya'll suckers money, and it probably worked because ya'll fools got no idea. Esham was nothing like that, he was UNDERGROUND. Not commercial crap like this. Leave this trash alone, both these pieces of $#!+. Nelly has contributed NOTHING to rap/hip-hop, and is most certainly NOT a pioneer of rap (responding to the f-wit reviewer below who sed Nelly was a pioneer of rap LOL).
Sweat Is useless, Suit is great...
Here is what I think. I have never been a very big fan of Nelly, but Suit has at least partially changed my opinion. His song with Ma$e is actually really good! Nelly is not just another club rapper with no point, he just acts like one n his other albums were like that mostly. Sweat is still some useless crap. In fact, I think they are worse club hits then E-I or any of those others were. Suit gets a 3.8-4 out of 5 from me, while Sweat gets a 1.5-1.9. So get only Suit, unless you have an extra 15 dollars that you NEED to spend. In that case, by it and the best use you will get from it is that you can put it next to Suit and see a full Nelly face rather then half of a Nelly face...
Thats my 2 cents.
Peace
Sweat Suit.. Bet Nelly Cd To Date
This cd deffinitly outdoes both Country Grammar and Nellyville. And best of all, it doesn't contain any dumbass interludes.
