SHORT BUT SOOOOO SWEET

This is another in the ongoing "Millenium Collections" from the MCA/Polygam conglomerate of labels. These collections have been criticized for the limited number of tracks and skimpy liner notes. But nowhere on the packaging is it stated that these are "definitive" collections. Rather, this series was designed to spotlight the biggest hits of the artists included. Obviously, no eleven track collection could do justice to the talents of Marvin Gaye. But there is probably not another 30 minute CD out there that packs the punch of this one. Every one of these tracks is a classic. And unlike other recent Gaye reissues, all the tracks are presented here in crisp sounding stereo.

even though this is hardly a true reprensentation of the Genius of Marvin Gaye His One Disc of Hits is way Better than Most Artists 3 or 4.The Man was COnstantly Getting Better.Very Original with a Capitol O.His Voice,Words,Music&Feelings forever Changed The Way People Heard&Listened To Music.He was A True INNOVATOR.This is a Good Start but once you get into his Depth&Range you Simply Can't Stop.
