there's a huge difference between martina mcbride and the rest of country's female artists(not that i have a problem with them) but the real difference is MARTINA POURS HER SOUL INTO THE SONG SO WELL..alot of the issues she chooses to sing about really are the issues of the world. The song that stands out the most is INDEPENDENCE DAY.such a sad song but beautiful lyrics and it really does touch your heart. Her older hits are magnificent and really are tad mix of country a lil hint of pop(if you will) and it really works for her. This is a cd almost every person should own ITLL SPEAK TO YOU.i luv the new material my favorite song is WHERE WOULD YOU BE its such a beautiful ballad that has martina's voice so strong and with the instruments it just flows THIS SONG SHOULD GET TO U. All the new songs stand out and well do they stand out. The best one is BLESSED. its just so beautiful and really that song must be autobiographical in many ways for her. WHEN GOD FEARIN' WOMEN GET THE BLUES my god it was a huge hit for her. she chooses her music well.The last song i mention from the new ones is CONCRETE ANGEL when u hear it, itll tear u to pieces is how sad the song is.Shes an artist who doesn't ignore the issues of today and the past. GIVE THIS ALBUM A SHOT ULL LOVE IT AND Ull LEARN SOMETHIN NEW..GUARANTEED

When I first heard "Great Hits" in my cousin vehicle I thought that it would be a great cd to buy. It had all her best songs on it that had came out to that date. Martina McBride is one of my favorite artists. She has been singing country or many years. This cd came out in September 18,2001. The cd cost $13.99 on amazon.com. "Greatest Hits" has sold millions of copies to this date.

If you have read what people think about this they like what they hear. Martina writes about what is going on in real life. She has emotional songs and happy songs. I would give this cd 5 start. Concrete Angel is a song that touched my heart every time I listen to it. It is down to earth I could listen to it over and over.

Martina has came out with 7 cd's before this cd. The name of the cd's are, "The Time Has Come", "The Way That I Am", "Wild Angels", "Evolution", "Martina McBride Christmas", Emotion', and "White Christmas". Her last cd that has came out is "Martina". When ever I read reviews from this cd they give it 5 stars once in awhile you will see 4 stars. This album was in the top 50 charts.

When you hear these songs, they say so much. How they talk about parents that have problems. Martina has a beautiful voice and she really uses it in this album. Martina has won 3 best female vocalist awards.

All the songs the cd are amazing. I wouldn't say there isn't a bad one in it. Concrete Angels, Independence, and Wild Angels would be my favorite songs in the album. If I had to pick one song it would be Concrete Angel. This album is the best album I have ever listened to. If I has to spend $15 on an album this would be the cd to buy.

I think country people would love this album. Its kind of a women's cd but men would like it also. Not only country people would like this cd, if you listen to pop this cd would be a good one to buy. Don't worry you wont be disappointed.
