I think it's Madonna's best compilation. The remixes are great, they give a new meaning to Madonna's American Life.



Nothing Fails (Nevins Mix): I think it's a great remix!! It's better than the album version. It turns the love song into a pleasant-to-hear ballad. (5/5)



Love Profusion (Headcleanr Rock Mix): The best mix in the EP! It's incredible to hear a mix that is better than the album version. I think it's Madonna's best mix. (5/5)



Nobody Knows Me (Mount Sims Old School Mix): Nice electro-retro mix. I love how it starts!! Madonna sings: No one's telling you how to live your life but it's a setup until you're fed up. Nobody knows me, nobody knows me, nobody knows me like you know me. I love this mix!! (5/5)



American Life (Headcleanr Rock Mix): Don't like it very much.. It would be better if it included more lyrics. (2/5)



Like a Virgin / Hollywood Medley: Just a great song!!!!! Madonna sings Hollywood in a different way.. and it makes the song more interesting!! Christina Aguilera sings Like a Virgin very well! And Missy Elliot gives a better touch to the song!! (5/5)



Into The Hollywood Groove (The passengerz Mix): Great mix that mixes Into the groove and Hollywood, I like it! It's a very good mix!! It's great to hear elements from the original Into the Groove that fits so well with this new version!! (5/5)



Your Honesty: Great song that gives a different meaning to this EP. I don't understand why it wasn't released before. (5/5)

Great Remixes From American Life CD Go Madonna

These are excellent remixes from American Life a very underrated CD. Nothing Fails is beautiful with some electro rock spunk to it. It talks about her love for Guy Ritchie. Love Profusion is also a wonderful remix. No Body Knows Me is my fave fast track from AL. The remix is great and it really has a stronge message that really no body knows the personal Madonna. She talks about what she does and how difficult it is to admire people which I agree with. American Life is a great powerful remix. I like Hollywood remixed but dont care too much for Britney and Christina. Your honesty is ok thats why I have it 4 stars. Keep up the good work Madge!! Fan since 1983.

I have to be honest here, this is a good collection of songs/remixes. It may not be as good as compilations like "Something To Remember", "GHV2" and "The Immaculate Collection" but it is still good. The 7-track EP provides fans with SOME new material from Madonna. Like rock versions of "Love Profusion" and "American Life", the new track, and collaborations, which don't appear on many Madonna CD's. I was happy with my purchase as she keeps re-inventing herself. This is like "American Life" part 2. The "Nothing Fails/Nobody Knows Me" Maxi Single (one of Madonna's best Maxi's), also features 2 remixes of "Nothing Fails" by Jason Nevins (none on here) and a remix of "Nobody Knows Me" by Mount Sims (not the one on here). Overall, I was happy with my purchase.
