"Let's Get Uncouncous" Good Song Great Remixes!!! Get This!

I highly recommend this album. Bedtime Stories is really good, but the remixes are out of this world. Madonna is the only one able to make awesome remixes from her songs. The remixes are actually better than the single. Survival, I dont know why it was put in there, but is really goos too. You will dance all night to this. The video is also amazing and I think was the most expenive one made to this date. The album came out in 1994. I could not get into the RB of this album. The only song I liked was Secret and BS. I highley recommend this album to Madonna maxi single collectors!!

Get Unconscious With These Mixes

"Bedtime Story" is one of Madonna's most artistic and misunderstood songs, to date. The song and video are completly spectacluar and this cd is NO exception.



1. Album Edit: This is the video version to the Song.



2. Junior's Wet Dream Mix: This is one of the best mixes on the cd. It starts of tame and gets more incrediable by the second. This song has a lot of electronic sounds to it and will keep you on your feet all night.



3. Junior's Dreamy Drum Dub: This is another hot project from Junior. Junior uses many drums (Hence "Dream Drum Dub")that make this dub an awesome one.



4. "Survival" (Album Version): This is a B-Side thrown in to compliment the cd. This song is wonderful, but doesn't fit in well with "Bedtime Story". I would have chosen "Sanctuary", but oh well.



5. Orbitial Mix: This is the best mix on the cd. It starts off slow and quite and gets more energized by the second. The electronic and techno sounds used in this version are hot, hot, hot!!



6. Junior's Sound Factory Mix: Here we have another hit from Junior. This is the longest mix on the cd, clocking in at over 9 minutes. It is hot and great to dance to.



7. Junior's Single Mix: This is a shorter version of Junior Wet Dream Mix.



This is one of Madonna's best songs and the single is even better to go with it!!

Traveling into the arms of unconsciousness

I'm not at all impressed with the repetitious remixes, which are all pretty mediocre, but "Bedtime Story" is one of my favorite songs by Madonna so I decided to buy the single since I have no desire to purchase her 'Bedtime Stories' CD as I'm not a huge fan of this diva's earlier works. Bjork adds her own magic touch by writing the lyrics to this mesmerizing tune and having Nellie Hooper produce it, making way for Madonna's latter electronic ventures with William Orbit on her masterpiece 'Ray Of Light' and Mirwais on 'Music'. The only thing that would have made this single worthwhile is the inclusion of her "Bedtime Story" video because, in my opinion (and many others, I'm sure), its her most inventive yet. Its dreamy, surreal nature is truly unlike anything I've ever seen before and I get chills every time I watch it.

The remixes of "Bedtime Story" all sound the same and, in all truthfulness, ruin the song. The DJs contribute nothing but weak beats that are equally bland. They completely take away from the original feel so, unless your like me and merely want the song and not the entire album than I definitely recommend this to you, but if your wanting some really good remixes of this killer club hit than look elsewhere. I'm still gonna settle with 5-stars though because the song "Survival" is also great and I love "Bedtime Story" too much to give it anything less.
