don't get me wrong - i love the original version, but she's certainly added a refreshing touch to the song. And the remixes have that perfect beat to dance or workout to. A must have for any Madonna fan!

good song, but...

..this tracklisting is awful. The 2 Calderone dubs are like 98% identical. How boring. Anyway, it's worth it just for the lp version, but if you wnat some nice mixes, get the one that has the Vission versions or the Japanese import.

I usually don't like dub mixes but these are great and I find myself pushing the repeat button. The Calderone vocal remixes are not on this but I still think this single is a must have for the dubs, and of course for the EXCELLENT original version which Madonna didn't ruin at all despite all the critics. Madonna's version is extremly well done at my opinion with vocal & musical arrangements which are a pure delight to listen to.
True, the two dubs are almost identical and I don't see the point... On the first one the repeated vocal part is "this will be the day that I (die)", while a few more vocal parts from the chorus are added to the next one (two times).
This cd is actually the UK part 1 cd-single.
