Reviews:

1965 - Hello Louis!

This is a good sampling of late Louis. The band consists of relatively new players (Billy Kyle and Danny Barcelona were the only two from the previous decade). This set consists of old favorites (Sleepy Time, Indiana, and Tiger Rag) and new triumphs (a sizzling Hello Dolly). Even though Louis has probably played some of these tracks thousands of times before a live audience, this set is as enjoyable and as fresh as any I have heard. Since this CD is labelled as "Volume 1", I'm hoping that "Volume 2" will be released soon.
