A very enjoyable title

I think that Less Than Jake exhibits phenomenal brass workk in this album. In fact, i think it's there best in that regard. However, I don't give it five stars because the vocals are lacking in some songs and, in all honesty, can get annoying. But the intramentals really make up for it. The bass and ska guitar riffs are all catchy. But, like I said before, where this album shines is in its horns, as they create a really temendous sound unique to LTJ's sound. If you don't like traditional Ska, with it's blazng horns and fast beat rythum guitar, then you'll have a heard time getting into this CD. This is truely a CD for the lover of Ska not just "rockers", becuase they ultimately won't get it. I personally recomend this album for a the avid ska listener, and anyone who takes an interest in ska or skacore.

Breakout album

This was Less than jake's breakout album in '97 when Ska took over the world for like 6 months. very cool if you like ska bands like reel big fish , buck-0-nine, aquabats, dance hall crashers.

Quality

I recently got this CD. When i first popped it in, i found it a little to un-pollished and raw. I didnt like at all. But i went back and made my self listen to it. Now i love this CD. The horn lines are infectouse and relevent, and nop superficial add-ons like LTJs more recent CDs. The songs that stick with me are Johny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts, Krazy Glue and automatic, one of my favourite songs now. I would urge everyone to get this disk
