Reviews:

big disapointment

With so many Ska bands so famous for their covers, I had the best hopes for this CD but it falls short. It sounds like a hastily thrown together garage band version of these songs rather than often hilarious versions we've come to love from bands like Reel Big Fish.

Save your money on this, less than EP sized, "album".

Good idea, bad attempt

The idea was great, and I think this album would've rocked if they had just put more effort into the songs. They all seem pretty half-assed, and thus, don't sound very good at all. Only get this if you're a big Less Than Jake fan and want all of their albums.

Not unoriginal

Although I am a recent LTJ fan (only known about them for 2 years), I must say I like their older style a lot better than the new. Yes, this album was hastily thrown together, but then again, it was done just for fun. From the way it sounds, they had a crapload of fun doing these eight songs. Had it been an actual original effort, yes, they would've produced this more professionally.

Lots of bands do covers of one, maybe 2 songs from a group, but how many times do you see eight songs from a movie? it's almost like they wanted their own version of the soundtrack.

Overall, this album got its point through to me, and that is that they just wanted to have some some and let their fans know that they do enjoy themselves.
