Golden Nugget

One of Led Zeppelin's truly hidden gems is here, "Hey, Hey What Can I Do". Nicely layered acoustic guitar tracks compliment lead vocals reminiscent of Mississippi Delta blues times. The only other cd on which this is available to my knowledge is the pricey box-set. A strong contrast to the A side "Immigrant Song" with its trademark drum beat and screaming Tolkienesque lyrics. A must for the true Zep fan who already owns all the cds and doesn't want to get the box-set just for a few songs (Traveling Riverside Blues & White Summer being the others). Get this and the BBC Sessions to enhance your collection.

YOU GET TWO SONGS ON CD

IMMIGRANT SONG(2:23) AND HEY HEY WHAT CAN I DO (3:56). WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED. THIS CD HAS BEEN REMASTERED AND THE BEST SOUND QUALITY EVER. ORIGINALLY THIS WAS NOT ON LED ZEPPELIN 3. WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN. BUT ON THE 4 CD BOX SET.

Just to correct some of the previous claims about where this was originally released - add to the previous mentioned single B-side and Boxed Set an official Atlantic EP released only in Australia called This is Led Zeppelin (ATLANTIC EPA 220) of which I am lucky to have a copy.
And as far as cover versions go add to the Hootie & Blowfish Encomium version another by Chris Thomas King on Whole Lotta Blues-This Ain't No Tribute.
Definitely a must have for any serious Zep collector is this CD single replica.
