a new voice new emotion of the french music

Lara Fabian is both from belgium and italy. She has a voice range that varies the sweet smokey bluesy voice to the strong soprano. She has this deep feeling in her voice and she puts all the emotion inside her songs. Compared to Celine Dion and Mariah Carey she has the same strength of voice butin addition she has this litle something that makes you chill when you listen one of her songs. She just recorded a new album called Lara Fabian totally in english and the first title of this album is called adagio a famous classic incredibly well performed by Lara Fabian. This cd is not on amazon yet but i think it should be here soon since it got released in November in France.

Lara Fabian's best

I love Lara Fabian's music, but of all her work, I like this the best. Perhaps it's unflattering to compare her to other musical artists. If so, I apologize. However, I can't help but think of Celine Dion's career. She and Fabian sang first in French, which captured the true beauty of their voices. When people realized that they were fabulously talented, managers, labels, and other business interests convinced them to reach a larger audience by singing in English. I don't blame them or their labels---after all, I might never have heard of her if she just sang in French. However, there is something magical about their first albums which is only partially duplicated in later works. I'm not criticizing the English language albums, they are wonderful as well. I'm just saying, IMHO, this is the best.

This album is timeless!!!The songs are wow ... Every song has its own story and the words are so poetic. I really would not be able to describe how wonderful this cd is ... just give it a try and i know you will love it.

This Album is a Joy. To this day, it's magic has not lost

its luster. I still play this CD again and again. I still sing her Masterpieces in karaoke again and again.

"Perdere L'amore" is so powerful, stirring and engaging that it made me learn some Italian to be able to sing it for Karaoke. My blood flows in my veins full of life. You can feel the essence of Italy in this song. You MUST see her perform this song in the PBS special, she is a world-class suave velvety songstress of a belter.

"Si tu M'aimes" gives me rushes to my head when I perform it to American crowds and especially to European who vacation to the States during the months of July and August.

"Ici" is a haunting journey on my way to my roots. It is simply a mega heavy weight of a ballad. It is a moving and wrenching piece of work.

This Album means so much to me. I hope that it will bring you as much satisfaction and joy as it has for me. No, if you have a blood pulse, YOU WILL appreciate this World-Class performer for who she is. I guarantee it. If you have a pulse, if you are not emotionally dead, if you have a heart, if you breathe... then it will force a reaction of wonderment for you.
