Reviews:

Lamb - "Wonder"

Lou Robinson and Andy Barlow continue to send chills through my body with their amazing new single "Wonder". I have been following Lamb's work since the release of their first album and, where most fans are saying that they should go back to their original sound, I think that their new sound is just as mesmerizing (mainstream or not). The radio edit is the first of the three versions of "Wonder" included on this single (though it unfortunately will probably never even be given the chance to grace the airwaves here in Lamb-less Colorado). Remixers Joel Edwards and Sam Malm aka "Dead Guys" bring us track number two, "Dead Guys 'Dead Head' Remix", which happens to be the number one reason you should promptly add this to your cart. I have never heard Lamb remixed to such perfection. Even though I love other Lamb remixes, I enjoy them on a completely different level. Dorky as it may seem, hearing this mix made me want to turn the volume to its highest setting and watch the whole neighborhood dance. Tellemake & Dr. Livingston rework the title track on track number three, "Higher Mix", but do not succeed at topping its predecessor. The music video for "Wonder" directed by Koch Entertainment finalizes the disc and is yet another reason to purchase it since you'll probably never have the pleasure of seeing it on American television. The disc also comes with four of it's own unique interchangeable front covers all with magnificent photography by Crispin, Lou Robinson (of Lamb) & Andy Carne. I trust that Lamb will forever continue to keep me in awe and can't wait for them to do it again.
