Reviews:

A great album capturing (most of) Kylie's greatest material!

This features all of Kylie's 'Pwl' hits, not like the dire , recent, phoney ULTIMATE KYLIE, as well as her 'deconstruction' hits. This does not feature any of her 'Parlophone' work (a good thing, trust me!). It even features her Japanese number 1 hit, TURN IT INTO LOVE, and the USA top 40 hit IT'S NO SECRET, which - unknown to most people - reached number 4 in Japan.

Every track here is at least very good. The only bad point to make is that it does not feature her club hit KEEP ON PUMPIN' IT, or GBI. Though I suppose that is forgiveable, since this is a hits compilation. Both failed top 40 in UK chart.

Definitive Kylie Collection

It took several tries but someone finally got it right. This collection of hits is by far the most accurate. Almost every single is here. It even includes the Japanese #1 "Turn it into love", and the US Top 40 single "It's no secret" The only way they could have made this more complete would have been to have included Kylie's duet with Towa Tei on the single "GBI"
The collection begins with Kylie's first recording of "The Loco-motion" (NOT the S/A/W version from 1987's "Kylie" album) and ends with "The real thing" from the motion picture soundtrack to her film "Sample People". It is such a delight to finally have a complete collection that can be played from start to finish. Listening to the discs you'll immediately notice her progression as an artist. By the end you'll only wonder why the US is finally starting to recognize what is surely the heir to Madonna's throne as Queen.
