The best known song is the quirky dance hit "Can't Get You Out of My Head", and it is one of the most aptly titled songs I can think of. I was very surprised that the rest of the album was great too, with other strong tracks including "More, More, More", the softer title track, the beautiful "Come Into My World", "Love at First Sight", "Fragile", and the closing blast "Burning Up".
The bonus disc is also of excellent quality, with several worthy, more dance-oriented remixes. My personal favorite is the combo of New Order's "Blue Monday" with "Can't Get You out of My Head", to give "Can't Get Blue Monday Out of My Head"... whoever came up with that combo is a genius. The alternative takes on "Come Into My World" and "Love at First Sight" are also highlights of the bonus disc, making the limited edition a definite improvement over the standard package.
"Fever" is a joy to both listen and dance to, and has really propelled Kylie's career on this side of the Atlantic. She's been a star for years in Europe and Australia, and hopefully the success of this disc will make her music much more accessible to North American audiences. This is a great album that'll be around for quite awhile, and with any luck it will encourage new fans to check out her worthy back catalogue as well.
