Reviews:

Commercial pop metal

Korn is not a bad band. they just came at a bad time and ended up getting categorized with a lot of bad bands like limp bizkit creed and linkin park. While they are looked down on by a few, they are looked up on by many. Korn came with a whole new sound that no one knew how to explain. Is the bass playing over the drums or are the drums playing over the bass? You could never tell with this band because the bassist and drummer played so well in unity that you could not tell which of them was playing what. Take "Got the life" for example. They complimented each other in their playing which was phenomenal. the lead singer has a great voice. I love how he always makes wierd noises and makes his own sound for the song. Korn is definitely unique. The only reason I give this album 3 stars is because it is missing their real true hits and because...well after a while you have to admit that constantly listening to them makes you realize all their songs sound a lot alike and it gets a little annoying.

Forget Sabbath and Zeppelin.. these guys made metal.

Korn is one of the world's most talented and groundbreaking artist. Forget posers from the 60s like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. And Nu metal wasn't created by Faith No More, Helmet, or Biohazard!! Korn is also the master's at covering Pink Floyd Songs. How ironic, you get a cheesy pink floyd tune and give it to korn and they create a masterpiece.

Why do they need a greatest hits?

Like many have said, this band is extremely manufactured and has helped destroy rock and metal in America. I never liked this band, I like thrash, hard rock, and even grunge, but this nu-metal garbage that this band put on the map really sucks. People say they invented nu-metal, WRONG! I would say Faith No More did, but they dont deserve that insult, so I now say that Helmet was responsible. This band is a disgrace to rock and should be cut!

Unlike Green Day (the other rock destroyers) this band has NO good songs (At least GD had 2), NO talent, and NO good songwriting (GD had some).

And its one thing to change the face of rock for a few years, but quite another to completely destroy the greatest metal band ever, Metallica! Metallica died a horrible death in the worst possible way by going NU-METAL, St. Anger was a DISASTER!

This band is horrible. And, oh yeah, thanks for ruining the great 'Another Brick in the Wall' by the amazing Pink Floyd you losers! This band will rot in hell for what they did to music, SECEN STRINGS DOESN'T MAKE YOU TALENTED (ESPECIALLY SINCE YOY ONLY USE 3 OF THEM!!!)!
