Description: Issues are one thing Korn singer Jonathan Davis has in spades. On the quintet's fourth album, Davis spews forth about misery, hate, happiness, pain, paranoia, and other primal issues, all set to an appropriately dark soundtrack. From "Dead" (which begins with Davis's trademark bagpipes in a sort of choral musical setting), to the first single, "Falling Away from Me," the vocalist's quavery, edgy, manic delivery sets the tone for this 16-song outing. Not as modern sounding or melodic as 1998's
Follow the Leader,
Issues is a throwback to earlier, more metallic Korn. If possible,
Issues has an even creepier vibe than its three predecessors, thanks partially to eerie guitar lines and vocal effects, especially potent on "Let's Get This Party Started." Twisted, cohesive, and epic,
Issues comes through for Korn's fans, who relate to the band's cathartic musical exorcisms and aggro, bottom-heavy rage, commercialism be damned. (Please note: You may receive any one of the album's four different covers.)

Reviews:
best of all
Korn has been around for awhile now, when I first heard them from my brothers room I rushed to his room and said "who is this" he said "this is Korn" then when I got paid I went to Fred Meyer's and got one of there CD's and listened to it for weeks. Korn is a rock/heavy metal band that is the one reason I like them. There are about 10 million copies of Korn sold today.
Korn is a very well known band they have been around for at least 8-9 years. Korn just released a new CD in December called Greatest Hits of Korn, and they have released about 2 CD's previously called Take A Look in The Mirror, and untouchables. In the middle of all their CDs it is a lot of rap and rock mixed, and totally different than the rest.
After listening to a korn CD my impressions are I will still be listening to them until I am dead. There are a lot of good songs, like embrace, twist, shoots and ladders, I Did My Time, and ton more, I can't just pick one and that is a good thing, the reason I like all of these songs, are because they sings soft and then just start screaming it is so awesome. At the end of most Korn CDs are hidden tracks. Korn can be compared to many other artists, like Disturbed, AFI, Three Days Grace, but mostly they are unique in there own way.
My over all rating for Korn is 5 stars out of 5. The type of person who would like this CD is someone who likes to headbang. Fans are going to be disappointed when they here that they are splitting up, because the lead singer is leaving them for "Jesus." Well they will find a new lead singer soon so watch out for them later.
Issues
In Issues, Davis' vocals take on an entirely differnt and gripping mood. Not only does he develop looks new vocal designs, but implements them to get an utterly brooding effect. The heavy distortion remains throughout the album, which gives it plenty of
intense energy. Corresponding with the vocal passages, Davis' lyrics are just as psychotic in Issues. However, the instrumental music in this album is mostly the same. It seems there is no significant change, except maybe more choatic and dissonant music. Primarily, the album is still a desperately adverse show of imagination that makes korn the band they are.
Thank god this genre is BURNED OUT!
For all of you rednecks and wiggers reading this, "genre" means "type/style/category."
Thank GOD rap/rock is DONE (for now, anyways). The only band that could pull it off (Rage) never needed any cute tricks like synthesizer sounds or a DJ. They had a brilliant guitarist who could make any sound he wanted jump out of his guitar. Korn is just another in a long line of posers and crying/complaining white suburbanites.
Limp Bisquik, Linkon Logs...whoever...its all the same thing. Screaming white kids crying because they can't get a date or have zits or live in some po-dunk town where ICP never tour.
This SHOULD be Korn's final LP. If at any time they were original, Korn is now one of many, none of which has the talent to stand out above the others. This album is possibly the WORST in their catalog, and the fact that SO many are trying to sell this for less than $2 shows that former fans don't even wan't this with their other CD's.
DUDE! KORN REALLY HAS SOMETHING TO SAY! Whatever, you white trash loser! These guys are finished.
