When Kool and the Gang were "Cool","Jazzy" and "Funky"

I totally agree with Mistermaxx and Music Fan on this release. This CD was released as a "Special Market" project from the PolyGram Group. I am quite surprised at the price of it also. All 16 tracks are the original album releases and were recorded way before their "Ladies Night" with ex-lead singer J.T. years. This is Kool And The Gang at their Funky/Jazzy best. This is a must have in your "Old School" collection.

If it's classic Kool you seek--i.e., pre-Celebration--this is a top-notch collection. It's unbelievable that all this funk is on one album for under seven bucks...and it's one of the few recordings you'll find of "Soul Vibration," arguably one of the best classic funk cuts out there. This one's a must; you won't be disappointed.
