Earth Songs

I have every album John Denver has ever recorded an released. It is the First album I reach for when I get in the mood for some JD. Perhaps it reminds me of the first time I saw him in concert on Cape Cod several years ago or perhaps it's the synthesized "new age" sounds of these new recordings... this is my favorite CD. The Eagle and the Hawk is new and fresh... and makes your spirit soar. In Calypso you can almost feel the salt spray on your face. A must have for all John Denver fans.

Worth the money

This album is worth the money if only for the new version of THE EAGLE AND THE HAWK - I'll never forget seeing John sing this with just his guitar and the most tremendous soaring voice. RAVEN'S CHILD is another of my favourites of his later music whilst some of the old stuff gets refreshing new treatment especially SUNSHINE and CALYPSO. Recommended.
