Jerry Lee Lewis Still Rocks on this One

A live performance by Jerry Lee Lewis is an experience you will not soon forget. These songs on this disc offer you a good sampling of one of Rock and Roll's original bad boys. From his rendition of Meat Man all the way down to his rocking versions of other songs you will remember, this is an excellent collection. I rated it 3 stars for the simple reason that most live performances on tape are not near as good as the studio tapes. The sound wasn't good, or whatever the reason. But the music on here deserves a full 5 star rating. My personal favorites-- yes there is actually two here-- are Careless Hands and You Win Again. I have actively sought every version of this song that I can find by Jerry Lee Lewis. Each one reflects a different side of the man and the music behind him. As they said at the 1979 appearance of Jerry Lee Lewis on Nasville's Grand Ole Opry, "Hank Williams, step aside, because HERE COMES THE KILLER!!!!" The Killer Rocks on and on and on and on....there is no substitute.
