Dickenson really sucks here

he destroys the maiden i really dislike him, he is an average singer and sounds aweful live, need proof, ive seen him live 3 times!!, dont buy this, at least the studio has polished up his vocals enough there to make them appear good.

HOW ??

How can someone say that this is good ? It has some good songs included (one of them not being the awful WASTED LOVE - one of the worst Maiden songs ever, along with THE APPARITION and WEEKEND WARRIOR - by coincidence, all of them having the hand of Janick Gers on composition...), but the playing and mixing is just atrocious !!

Iron Maiden - 'A Real Live One' (Capitol)

THESE days,it might be a bit confusing due to the several live albums that've been released by Maiden.But,'A Real...' is the band's first live release since 'Live After Death' and not as good,I'm afraid.Decent,just not great.The semi-killer tracks here include "From Here To Eternity",the Bruce Dickinson gem "Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter","Tailgunner","Can I Play With Madness?" and "The Crairvoyant".One thing I really do like about this title is that it appears to be a REAL LIVE recording with NO overdubbing whatsoever.If you're a Maiden fan,you should get something from this disc.If you're a Maiden nut(and I know they're out there),then you'll most likely love this record.A decent find.Nice Maiden cover,as always.

This is MAiden an their worst. They recorded 2 live albuns ina hurry, only to get sweet money from their loyal fans and soon after that released another live album! (LIVE AT DONINGTON) This was a case of greed by a band still good, but with the wrong musicians. After that, I gave up on them and never bought anything.
