A message to all tha f***s that diss Bone.
I think that ALL the Bone Thugs N' Harmony albums kick ass. But to all the f**s that diss all the BTNH albums just dont appreciate the music of Bone Thugs. And to the f*** that gave E. 1999 Eternal a one star review, F*** YOU! And to all the people that have EVER hated BTNH or any of their work, Me and my hetro life mate Kool-Aid have a little message to give you. All you motherf*****s are gonna pay. You are the ones who are the b**l-lickers. We're gonna f**k your mothers while you watch and cry like little whiny b*****s. And once we find the f***s that hate BTNH, we're gonna make them eat our s**t, then s**t out our s**t, and then eat their s**t that's made up of our s**t that we made 'em eat. Love; Potatoe Chip and Kool-Aid. {Quote; Jay and Silent Bob.}
If all rap was like this I'd be a huge fan
I've been a Bone Thugs N Harmony fan for a while but only just bought my first Bone CD last week. The Art of War, obviously being it. This CD blew me away. This is the type of CD that doesn't contain filler in it's 28 song span. Even the intro is amazing. Heck, the intro is one of my favorite songs, and that's rare for any genre of music. This group has the talent to make a 2-disc CD and have every verse from every member be perfect. I'll admit the guest rappers aren't particularly good though. But that's dismissable because most guest rappers aren't anymore. In my own humble opinion, I think this is the best rap CD ever made. I know people will strongly disagree with me, but keep in mind that I'm not much of a fan of rap.
As I mentioned, the intro, Retaliation, is wonderful. Handle The Vibe is one of my favorite songs included in this collection. The way they rap and the beat accompanied is stellar. Definitely worth a listen from everyone. Clog Up Yo Mind is so catchy that you'll have it stuck in your head for days. The beat is great and, as always, the rapping from all is amazing. If I Could Teach The World is a touching song that follows somewhat in the vain of Crossroads. I personally think Wish Bone steals this song. With that we move onto disc two. Thug Luv is by far my favorite rap song ever. 2Pac, of course, makes any song listenable. But the fact that he joined with Bone makes the song undeniably good. The anger is in everyone's voice and that pushes this song into greatness. Layzie Bone, my favorite member, has the best verse by my judgement. Friends is yet another great song. The chorus is very catchy and just about everyone can relate to it.
Overall this is definitely worth the money. A few of my favorite songs are Retaliation, Handle The Vibe, Body Rott, Thug Luv, and Friends. Every song is great but those are the songs I listen to the most. It'd be rewarding to you, the listener, though, if you made time to listen to each CD all the way through. If you do that then I guarantee you'll be a fan of Bone for life. Their impact in the rap game will not soon be forgotten. Their rapping abilities just blow me away everytime I hear this CD. I'm sure it'll do the same for you.
one of thier best albums
where do i start? i will give an intro then i'll review every track cos i hav nothing better to do now.
this came out in 1997 after the succesful east 99 album. the anticipation was high for this.
okay. this has d j uneeks best work with the group, fact. this has samples/interpolations on songs like "friends" and "handle the vibe". d j uneek mixes very well and was very original, body rott is one of his best, no interpolaion...
now onto the 5 very original thugs. flesh n bone is great, he is only on about 6 songs but his verses are OFF THE HOOK. check his "all original verse", luv his lyrics and tong twisting.
wish bone is just good. like the other reviewer said(his review is amazing, u know his story about the bone beef...)he is good on some tracks(if i could teach the world)and bad on some(body rott). he has a powerful voice, he is confident, his rapping skillz are great now but not back then. bone need too re release this and wish re do his verse, that would be cool.
bizzy bone is awesome on this, his flow mixes with any beat. this is wen he started rapping very fast(handle the vibe...if u think u know what he's saying think again....look at the lyrics). his lyrics are great as well.
kraizy bone. this guy is funky or whate ever. he has the groove. he can make a song sound catchy very easily.
layzie bone. this is where this dude got more "mature". he's starts too rap softer because he's in a studio relaxed. wen live his rapping skillz are better coz he's energetic an everything.
now onto the hot tracks.
retaliation. this is only an intro, i listen too it alot, the beats are awesome, layzie an flesh/uneek hav thier shout out....
handle the vibe. a grat song. beat is nice, kraizy spitz well good and so does bizzy.
look in to my eyez. yer, it's a great hit, every ones verse is great, the video i hav got is amazing and better.
body rott. yer this is awesome. kraizy has the best verse even though people will say bizzy has. kraizy's was great cos as he was rapping he was building an anger in his voice, sweet.

ready 4 war. very good, lyrics are great, majesty is in this, he has great lyrics. damn this is a story.
aint nothing changed, every day thang part 2. great song, nice beat.
clog up yo mind. good song, good beat, bizzy rapped for a long time. just let thier raps clog up yo mind.
it's all real. great kraizy bone solo. he talks about him being quiet and don't take it as his weakness, he'll be plottin a riot!
the first verse is awesome, after that it gets a bit repetiv, top song.
hard times interlude. this is okay. they mention drinking and something else.
mind of a souljah. this is a great layzie bone solo. talks about the cops asking him the same "bull sh*t" questions and he had to move on. he sais some personal things. the beat is great.
if i could teach the world. radio friendly. kraizy and wish has the best verses. one of wish bone's best.
family tree. - great song. "this is a family". kraizy comes off with the best verse then layzie. the beat is nice.
mo thug interlude. this is a great skit. layzie "we know were thuggish ruggish people and good humble people...on the ground to teach the world to be a thug and harmony...peace full"
thug luv. great song, not as good as foe tha love off money. bizzy bone comes off hard, he raps quite fast, shame he could off
been easier to understand.
HATIN NATION. the beat is very smooth. this has a great hook. these guys are saying don't let the hataz ride ur car or smoke your weed!
every one has a good verse. layzie has the best verse.
7 SIGN - bizzy and majesty track. the beat is cool, so is the hook, I like bizzy's harmonising wen he's singing as well and rapping. the lyrics are very good.
WASTELAND WARRIORS - This is a fan favourite. kraizy opens up nicely "What if we slowed it down?
