Reviews:

I love it

I love this cd. People should try it out.

Solid, grooving and jamming modern reggae album...

Inner Circle have been around for over 30 years, and been through a lot of loss as well a lot of success. Their 1999 U.S. release Jamaika Me Crazy continues their late 90's work with modern, danceable reggae sound.

This cd was released in Europe a year before, yet only 4 tracks, the best ones, remained from the Euro release, including the excellent, jammin' 'Talk About' and the heartbraking 'Mother Teresa' recorded with José Feliciano. All in all this cd has solid, entertaining tracks about reggae music, life, love, girls and Jah Jah, the elements Inner Circle have always used on their releases.

Mixing reggae with other music styles has lately been the biggest change in Inner Circle's music. Although they've been greatly criticised by this, I personally find their late 90's work simply better than their old work. Nothing against Miller, or rootsy reggae, Inner Circle offers a different, refreshful and international mixture of their own culture and modern music styles.
