Description: A seven-track postscript to
AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (built around a remix of that album's "Endangered Species," with a blistering new verse by Chuck D.), and a booming car tape for short drives, this is why people thought gangsta rap was a good idea at the time. It's got a certain amount of filler and goofiness (like "Jackin' For Beats," with Cube kicking it over a bunch of famous grooves), but it's also got some great quick-cut music from Sir Jinx and the Bomb Squad, and two of the darkest, toughest, truest tracks Cube's ever done: "The Product," a scathing indictment of the system that destroys America's underclass, and "Dead Homies," a clear-eyed look at the aftermath of violence.

Reviews:
GOOD ALBUM FOR 1990
NOTHING REALLY GOOD CAME OUT IN 1990 AND IF IT WAS GOOD THIS WOULD BE ONE OF THE FEW ALBUMS. THIS IS LOADED WITH PLENTY OF OLD SCHOOL BEATS AND A STYLE THAT CUBE STILL USES TODAY. GET THIS ALBUM IF YOU ARE ESPECIALLY INTO THE OLD SCHOOLB STYLE AND.
ice cube's best for show!!!
yo this is the start of cube after nwa and this and amerikkkas most came. them to are the best cube cds by far. this is kinda like and add on to amerikkkas most but it just wouldnt seem right ta have that many songs on an old school cd like this. this has one of cubes best on it dead homiez. thanks to this song there are dead homeboy songs everywere now. my favs are crossroads (bone thugs), pour out a little liquir(tupac), and of corse this one on this album. take a hint make this part of your collection aswell as amerikkkas most and death certificat that is what cube is realy about g. plus every song on this one is dope even though it has 7 tracks it still is phat. peace
Some product...
Even weighing in at just EP length, this was one Ice Cube release that needed to be released. Overall more even than "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted", and it features 2 of his best tunes: his requiem for gang peace--"Dead Homiez", and a mix-master classic--"Jackin' For Beats."
