Your Sweet 666 was originally released on the hit debut Album 'Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666', and is now featured on the British version of the second album 'Razorblade Romance', as is Right Here in my Arms. Both are fantastic songs, bittersweet and melancholy in a style that Ville Valo (lead singer) describes as "Love Metal". They have been described as a poppier version of Type O Negative and this isn't too far off the mark, but they certainly are an original group, notwithstanding the inclusion of covers such as Chris Isaak's Wicked Game (on the albums) and Billy Idol's Rebel Yell (on the CD single 'Join Me'). I highly recommend this band, the guitar playing is talented, the bass throbs away with the best of them, the drumming will get you straight onto the dance floor, and the singing is to die for. Right Here in My Arms certainly shows how versatile Ville is, and what a range he has.
