Reviews:

awesome import

i personaly am obsessed with the band i own all but 1 single and g-sides is a very good compilation of rare songs although i disagree with the fact that the US version does not include the vids the import does and is worth it in my opinion just for the cover ehhe well it good so BUY IT

Eh, songs that just didn't make the cut

Fact of the matter is, these are just songs that didn't make the cut to Gorillaz. The high point is the Soulchild remix of 19-2000, which just makes you want to get up and dance (more so than the original, even!) It goes down from there. The Ferrher-less version of Latin Simone (Que Pasa Contigo) doesn't move you the same way. The Wiseguys remix of 19-2000 is just bad club music interspersed with bits of the original. The Sounder is an alright Rap track with the typical 2-D whine. Automator probably looked from that song, to Clint Eastwood and back and just said "No contest." CE's a clearly superior take on the concept. Faust and Ghost Train are just inferior versions of concepts from the original CD. Hip Albatross is just unpleasant (with Albarn even more off-key than usual) with 12D3 closing the album fairly nicely, though it still sounds like leftovers.

Great cd

This cd is awesome for all gorillaz fans. I recommend it for anybody that is looking for some real neat music.
