Not "Live In Argentina," but not a bad collection...

Although titled "La Voz En Argentina," this seems to be a collection of Sinatra's previously released Reprise hits and album tracks. Originally released in 1981, perhaps in conjunction with a live performance in Argentina (The inner booklet features a photo of Sinatra performing on stage, titled "Buenos Aires, Agosto, 1981"), this CD features 12 tracks including favorites like "New York, New York," "Strangers In The Night," and a live version of "My Way." There are a few of the rerecordings of earlier Capitol hits, plus a few Brazilian hits ("Wave," and "Mahna de Carnival"). This is a release on Warner Argentina, and the sound is fine. There doesn't seem to be anything that hasn't been available elsewhere, however it's a pleasant blend of material, and if you're a completist type of fan you might find a home for this in your Sinatra library.
